REVIVE: RESTORATION IN MOUNT MORRIS PARK
The landmark block on Lenox between 119th and 120th finally finished up renovations but still has a couple of boarded up windows. All of the facades look to be in pretty bad shape a few years back but have been cleaned up finally but the results are each quite different. At least one of the buildings now has been completely restored with a brand new storefront on street level but the others still remain as a lumber yard on the lower level with the top floors still unfinished. It is still unclear why the other townhouses still remain underutilized but then again, Harlem has always taken slow steps over the years when it comes to block restoration. Check out what the buildings looked like before in our past post: LINK
