REVIVE: MAJOR PROGRESS AT HARLEM WHOLE FOODS
The construction at the Harlem Whole Foods broke ground well over a year ago but not much has happened on the site at the corner of Lenox and 125th Street but a lot of digging. Concrete foundation walls seem like they have been taken months to construct for some reason and everyone uptown has been wondering if the building would actually rise one day. As can be seen by the lower photo taken today, that moment is now at hand. Steel beams have already been secured in the basement level at this point in time and it look like the first is rising at this point but not visible from the street because of the plywood. From what we have seen in the past, once this phase has been reached during construction then the floors really go up quickly. We expect a faster finish towards Fall 2015 based on this current milestone. Check out the final rendering in our past post: LINK

Perhaps the inclement weather was a factor. This was not a good winter
