READ: GAVIN BROWN GALLERY MOVING TO 126TH
Iconic downtown art gallery Gavin Brown has made some major art world news by shuttering the original location on Greenwich Street and now moving to the old brewery district by the Mink Building in Manhattanville. There having been many speculative businesses positioned for the adaptive reuse buildings just east of Amsterdam on 126th Street but this appears to be the biggest confirmed tenant for one of the factory spaces. Mr. Brown apparently lives nearby also and thus another notable downtowner has made the big move uptown. More in the Observer: LINK
