The large corner storefront on the southeast side of 8th Avenue at 145th Street has had some major construction going on since the start of summer and many have been curious on what is to come. We really do not have any solid leads but one of the small business owners in the area mentioned that 7 Eleven was the new commercial tenant. Does anyone else have any other tips out there?

ReplyDeleteMy dry cleaner told me it was going to be a 7Eleven. Might be the same source.

ReplyDeleteIn August of 2014, you pointed out some great old signage on 145th St. that had been exposed during the initial work on the site. (Thanks!) When I visited that same day to take photos, the owner of O'Fishole Seafood -- also within the boundaries of the construction site, and now closed -- told me that he, too, understood 7Eleven to be the incoming tenant.
