EAT: HARLEM SHAKE CONSTRUCTION ON 2ND AVENUE
There was a report last summer that Harlem Shake on Lenox will be opening a second location in East Harlem and now it looks like construction has started. We walked by the corner East 111th Street on Second Avenue this past week and saw that new plywood was up at the formerly shuttered old storefront. Construction workers were also on site along with the required permits so things are definitely coming along. East Harlem is suddenly starting to change real quickly and we will have more reports in the coming months. More on the original Harlem Shake news can be found in our past post: LINK

I think they'd do pretty well if they opened one on Broadway in the 140s.

ReplyDeleteI live on East 109th and 2nd and very excited that Harlem Shake is opening by me!! Finally, another nice restaurant to add to a great neighborhood. Whats the ETA on completion? Thanks!
