An SRO townhouse at 305 West 112th Street located west of FDB arrived on the market last year for just under $3 million but the listing would eventually be removed.  Now it looks like the owners are actually renovating the building based on the DOB permits posted on the new plywood fence out front.  Once everything is complete, this address a couple of blocks from Central Park will be a two-family configuration and will presumably be in turn key condition.  There is still an abandoned townhouse on the block along with an empty lot but the this part of the South Harlem has definitely improved over the years.  After all the work finishes up, a $3 million sale might be in the future but our opinion has always been that the previous condition did not merit the high asking price
