Cedric's on St. Nicholas by 119th transformed disastrously into a burger bar called Bunz last summer and closed shortly thereafter. So what is going on with the unique corner space these days? Craft paper had been posted up on the window this past week and we also discovered a public notice on the door for a liquor license. Base on conversations with local shop owners in the area, it appears that a tequila bar will be popping up soon in the southern quarters Harlem just below 125th Street. No news yet on the name but something new is always appreciated to mix things up a little in the uptown scene.
Having never eaten there, I am shocked, SHOCKED, that "Bunz" wasn't a success.
