Finding a true one-bedroom below 155th Street in Manhattan for under $1,500 a month is not easy these days but the unicorn has just appeared this week in the Heights. Number 1883 Amsterdam is a funky address that has a brand new mural representing the Audubon neighborhood and faces Trinity Cemetery but has just been renovated. This location by 153rd Street is actually in Hamilton Heights even though the ad says otherwise and is also pretty quiet. There is a C train station a couple of blocks north and the Broadway commercial corridor is just one avenue west. More on the broker site:

ReplyDeleteI love that block, especially with that mural. You are right next to Harlem Collective and in my opinion, the next big area to bloom. Lots is happening south of 145th on Amsterdam, I assume more stuff north should be the next space to come alive.
