SEE: ANTONIO LOPEZ EXHIBIT AT EL MUSEO
June 14th to November 26th, Antonio Lopez: Future Funk Fashion at El Museo del Barrio, 1230 Fifth Avenue by 105th Street. One of the most famous fashion illustrators of the 70s and 80s was Antonio Lopez who grew up in East Harlem and went to school at P.S. 77 on East 104th Street. Andy Warhol, Jerry Hall, Pat Cleveland and Grace Jones were all part of the Puerto Rican artist's famous clique and the El Museo now has an exhibit of the works of the fashion legend.
