The East Harlem Cafe shuttered earlier this year and it now looks like a new establishment will be arriving soon at this particular corner of El Barrio.  We walked by Lexington Avenue by East 104th Street this past weekend and noticed that new signage had already been posted up.  Bean Y Vino appears to be a day-to-night cafe with coffee and wine on its mind which will probably debut sometimes this fall.  This location on the east side of Harlem has a lot of commercial developments in the immediate  area because of the subway station on the block and Bean Y Vino should do pretty well if everything comes together in the right way.  Read more about East Harlem Cafe in our past post: LINK

  1. it opened this past Thursday and looks fantastic, a sleeker European cafe feel with delicious donuts and a great espresso machine, plus pizzas and other take away bites. a great vibe for that caffeine pick me up!
