SHOP: ORIGINAL STOREFRONTS AT STRIVERS ROW
A fire apparently closed down the dollar store on FDB by 139th Street a couple of years and now it looks like everything has been fixed up but with original design details. The former storefronts was a cheaply fabricated modern and bland variation of the classic but it appears that landmarks has really made an effort with the building owner to replicate what was there a century ago. This is one of Harlem's historic district so being a little bit more firm with the renovations requirements do make sense. More on Strivers Row in our past post: LINK
