ARCHITECTURE: BJARKE INGELS ON 125TH STREET
Harlem Bespoke: We were by Lexington Avenue yesterday and noticed that 149 East 125th Street was really coming along. As reported in the past, Danish architect Bjarke Ingles designed the curvilinear new construction with a cantilevered overhang over the DMV building on the block. There will be a couple of hundred new units on site when all finishes up and 47 of the them will be affordable. Only a small section of the building will be hovering over the 125th Street side and the 126th entrance will be the residential part of the development: LINK
