Harlem Bespoke: The storefront at 285 St. Nicholas Avenue is still vacant and has been so for about 4 years. This location is right by the express subway station and is a very visible corner space so what is the major issue? Higher commercial rents have kept many shops empty further downtown and this might just be a similar situation. A cafe was reportedly moving into the space back in 2015 but that business deal apparently fell through:
