REMEMBER: BARBECUE ON LENOX CIRCA 1940

Harlem Bespoke: We mentioned that the city kept archival photos of every building from the 1940s or the 1980s for those who want a reference and in the meantime looked up one historic site.  The facade in question pretty much looked the same until about 7 years ago and the building was recently demolished to make way for a new construction.  Especially interesting is that barbecue and Italian food appeared to popular back in the day.  Who can guess the famous establishment pictured in the photo?  Check out the NYC Tax Photograph site here for additional research: LINK
