☞ REMEMBER: Italian Harlem Part Due


The above tinted photo shows Italian American life in the New York City at the end of the 19th century. Though shot on Mulberry Street on the Lower East Side, it provides a perspective of what the crowded immigrant streets might have look like also in East Harlem around Pleasant Avenue during this time period.
