As one can see, Morningside Park is just about ready to burst with blooms and spring colors. We noticed along with the Daffodils, Crocuses, Freesia, Magnolia and Dogwood, that the local Morningside Park organization will be hosting on Saturday, April 11th, a Spring Celebration. This family friendly event will involve egg hunts, games, and crafts. Sakura Park will not be ready for its spring reveal until next week so check in for updates. If you don't have kids, it might be a great time to see the park while walking the dog or taking a jog. Take the 1 or B, C train to 110th street and walk towards Morningside Avenue.
