Sakura Park update: Thursday, April 9th. One tree has started to bloom lightly but the others are pretty tighly closed. So the bloom watch is around 20% at this point. It seems maybe about Wednesday next week might be a good time to start dropping by the park. More updates to come in the next couple of days (it seem like the rain will be returning). And yes, that is Riverside Church in the background. Travel to 122nd Street and Riverside Drive. Take the 1 train to 125th street or 116th street for the more scenic route, and head two avenues west to Riverside Drive.
