☞ WALK: West 148th Street
The above shots are of our stroll along western Hamilton Heights today around West 148th between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue. There are pockets of turn of the century brownstones mixed with larger six-story prewar residential Beaux-Arts buildings anchoring the avenues. The streets are tree-lined and really quiet in this part of town that feels more like Brooklyn than Manhattan. Take the 1 train to 145th Street to discover more of Hamilton Heights.
