This small magazine store is not only a coffee shop as well, but it also sells basic dry goods in an updated general store environment with blue beadboard wainscot lining the walls. Try some of the Jamaican Flower Water in the pedestal decanter, and have a seat at the small but well-appointed tables at the front under some truly smart-looking pendant lights. The shop has breakfast options along with bagels, pastries and sandwiches made to order. Located at 78 West 131st Street between Lenox and 5th Avenue, this little store is a much needed amenity in the once solely residential section of 5th Avenue in central Harlem. Take the 2,3 train to 125th Street or 135th Street.
