☞ DRINK: ONE BAR to Arrive on Lenox

The overly ambitious caviarteria closed about a year ago at the prime corner of Lenox and 120th Street and will soon be replace by One Bar. We were thrilled to see the signs plastered on the windows this weekend as we passed by the notable corner of this landmark building in the Mount Morris Park historic district. Stay tune for more updates. Closest subway is the 2,3 express train at 125th Street. Photos by Ulysses

  3. It seems not so long ago there where almost no new establishments in Harlem and the current thinking was the church liquor license problem would prevent the feasibility of any viable business. Now it seems almost every week there is something new to report on the dining entertainment front despite the great recession. I attribute it to business owners not wanting to be the first to risk something new, now the word it out many new business are arriving. A special recognition has to go to the pioneers like Settepany who where early to realize Harlem’s potential.

  7. They might have not filed the DOB permit for major electrical or plumbing. This can be done on line and rectified rather quickly.

  8. I've heard that One Bar should be open before the end of the year. It will be primarily a wine bar with select beers and a great bar food menu. I'm so excited!
