The NY Post story on Harlem resident Tamara Duricka might give the rest of those single New Yorkers a bit of hope in the dating scene. Ms. Duricka, finding herself 30 years old at the beginning of this year, decided to approach meeting guys by speed dating and the "31 Dates in 31 Days" blog was born. She recorded all of her platonic-style dates this past January, and readers got to vote on who was eligible for a second Valentine's day date. Gentleman caller Evan Johnson was the bachelor selected, and he ended up proposing to her when they were on vacation a few months later. Photo courtesy of the New York Post.
