☞ READ: Floridita Tapas to Shutter in January
This week's Columbia Spectator reports that Floridita Tapas, at the intersection of Broadway and West 125th Street, will be closing within two months. The Tapas restaurant was opened two years ago even though the space was in the demolition site of Columbia's new Manhattanville campus plan. This is the sister restaurant to Floridita, which is around the corner on Broadway side. The West Harlem restaurant row seems to be a contentious issue on both sides, so it's interesting that the school newspaper has been following up on a regular basis with the business owners. Read Monday's Spectator article in detail: LINK or read our past post on Floridita: LINK. Floridita Tapas is on 3219 Broadway at the corner of 125th Street. Tel. (212) 662-0225. The nearest train is the elevated 1 train at 125th Street (which can be seen at right of image). Photo by Ulysses
