Eyewear is a big trend nowadays and one can find a good selection at Wynn Optics in the Mount Morris Park Historic District on Lenox Avenue, between 118th and 119th Street. This little shop was one of the first specialty stores to open up in the building that now shares storefronts with the new N Boutique and a dry cleaner/tailor in between the two. A one stop Harlem fashion shop block if there ever was one. Wynn Optics is at 167 Malcolm X/Lenox Avenue and the nearest subway stop is the 2,3 express at 116th or 125th Street. Photo by Ulysses

I love Wynn Optics. The service was great, the staff was super friendly and the variety of eyewear to choose from grand. This establishment gets five stars in my book.
ReplyDeleteDo not go there. I went in for a minor adjustment on my glasses and ended up with a scratched lens. There are other Harlem Optical Shops in the area. Enter at your own risk.
