☞ INTRODUCING: Yatenga French Bistro and Bar
The folks at Shrine will be opening Yatenga French Bistro and Bar at the next door storefront that use to be the restaurant La Marmite. After walking by yesterday, the facade still looked like it has a ways to go but we are told that next Thursday, January 21st will be opening night. This section of central Harlem has a lot of potential and this new restaurant might usher in a new wave of better eateries. Yatenga French Bistro will be located on the east side of 2269 Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard (7th Avenue), just below 134th Street, with the nearest trains the B or the 2,3 express at 135th Street. Stay tuned for updates. Photo by Ulysses.

Remarkable, five years ago who would have thought it and I agree, this may usher in a new wave of better eateries. Harlem should now be noted as one of the fastest changing neighborhoods.
ReplyDeleteThat tacky awning sign is hardly auspicious.
ReplyDeleteThat's the old sign from a previous restaurant.
ReplyDeleteI walked by this morning and it looks gorgeous! White exposed brick and shutters that open for the open air effect in the summer. I 'm very excited as the newer eateries don't usually come past 120th St. or so...
ReplyDeletewent to Grand Opening Party last night. The food was great and interior of the restraunt was amazing.
ReplyDeletethis neighborhood is surely changing. the new restaurant looks absolutely gorgeous. can't wait to try the food!!!
