
The plywood fence in the front section of the Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Building, at the corner of 125th Street and ACP/7th Avenue, portends some major construction but what's going on? Is it a new plaza or just renovations? The fence is actually kind of cool since it's the only one we have seen with custom-cut portholes at top. The building doesn't look so bad at this angle either (when 90% of it isn't visible). Does anyone out there actually like this sort of 1960s-1970s architecture? See what the organization Project for Public Spaces thinks about the building:
