Come support the community effort to save the historic school building from the wrecking ball. For those who can not make the meeting, sign the online petition which has over 280 signature: LINK. I'm all for saving a historic building, but there has to be a long-term plan or it will remain an eye sore.
ReplyDeleteThere have been five plans but the owners now want to have it demolished. The school was bought from the government with the promise that it would be restored. That was over two decades ago and the community groups are trying to find options on saving it. The developers are there but the owners want to make more money on a new rental building.
