☞ BESPOKE: Curvilinear Cast Iron Gates

The landmark brownstone at 356 Convent Avenue (southwest corner) caught our eye recently because of its unique cast-iron architectural elements out front. The scrolled fence that wraps around the corner front wall is probably one of the more unique ones we have seen in some time. Unfortunately, the building itself is pretty neglected for some reason and has been vacant for as long as we can remember. Does anyone know the history? Photo by Ulysses.

  1. I don't know anything about it, but that house is ENORMOUS.
