Several rising stars of Broadway came together this past Sunday at the Harlem Meer for a free concert and charity event benefitting Opus 118, the Harlem School of Music. We noticed the crowds and the amazing vocals of the concert while passing by the north end of Central Park yesterday. Folks brought out their lawn chairs or just stood on the sideline to see the group of featured performers of the day (who had their photos up on the lawn fences). Suggested donations were at $20 but those who missed out on the event can go directly to the Opus 118, Harlem School of Music site to donate to keep the institution open for the balance of this year:
