☞ DRINK: Bier International Gets Bar Ready
We were wondering last week when the important bar-half of Bier International on 113th Street and FDB/8th Avenue would finally be worked on and now it seems the time has arrived. As of last night, the new right side facade has been placed into the space and we could indeed see a bar starting to form in the interior. It's still pretty much a raw space so we are guessing another week until the opening. The closest train to this location is the B,C at 110th street. It's like "hallelujah, help is on the way!" I think the place will be stampeded upon opening. People are getting desperate!
ReplyDeleteLet's hope they bust it out. If they really can finish in "another week," that will leave a good 10 days or so of the World Cup...
ReplyDeleteIt would be a major bummer for me, and poor financial planning in general, if they're not open for the World Cup.
ReplyDeleteDespite several online sources saying that Bier International was opening this weekend, it clearly is not. According to the owner who was standing outside the under-construction bar they are still hoping to be open before the last game of the World Cup, but can’t be sure. My friends and I left disappointed and thirsty, but eager to see it open.
