☞ SEE: Marcus Samuelsson to Win Top Chef?
SPOILER ALERT!: The finale for Bravo TV's Top Chef Masters was last night and Harlem's Marcus Samuelsson beat the best of the best to get the coveted title. Although already having a few restaurants under his belt, Mr. Samuelsson went on national television and represented Harlem's yet-to-be-open Red Rooster. The producers of the program evidently made a mock-up of the restaurant (top photo) so that the star chef could have something to stand by in the promo materials of the show. With this national coverage and another winning title for the celebrity chef, the new restaurant should definitely be a major draw once it opens at the end of the summer. Marcus is a well rounded man. Just brilliant. I am so excited that he's opening his restaurant in Central Harlem. The journey he had to take to get to where he is now is fascinating and uplifting. I well be a regular at Red Rooster!
ReplyDeleteawwwww ulysses how about a little "SPOILER ALERT!!!" before ruining the finale of one of my fav shows!
ReplyDeleteAnon 8:19,
ReplyDeleteThe finale was last night my friend...
I was spoiled here too. I was going to watch tonight. The title of the post clued me in, but I knew Marcus was going to win anyway!
ReplyDeleteWay to go Marcus. It feels like a big win for him and Harlem.
ReplyDeleteI am thrilled for Marcus and for Harlem...I feel so proud!
ReplyDeleteMarcus is a stud. And this is coming from a man's man. He bigged up Harlem tremendously. Harlem is now officially NYC's hottest neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteAlso echo a spoiler alert. I don't really watch the show but my wife is pissed now because she DVRed it but had not watched it yet. Oh well she'll get over it.
ReplyDeleteThe phrase "Spoiler Alert" doesn't work if it's not preceding the headline of what you're about to spoil. Not cool. Just sayin'.
