☞ SHOP: Joseph Fisheries at Morningside Market

We just checked out the Morningside Farmers' Market this afternoon and were surprised to see that it was about three times the size than we last remembered. One of the new additions that got us pretty excited was Joseph Fisheries from Montauk Long Island. The catch is local, and the fish looks amazingly fresh. We bought some produce at Migliorelli Farm but saved buying the fish for later in the afternoon (we had more errands to do before getting back home). Anyways, check it out if you have a chance later today. The Morningside Farmers' Market is at the corner of West 110th Street and Manhattan Avenue (Saturday's only). The closest train is the B,C at 110th Avenue. Photos by Ulysses

  2. We bought an amazing piece of cod and the woman behind us got a dozen little neck clams. There was also monkfish, swordfish, tuna, scallops and bluefish. Making a point to buy from them every Saturday.

  3. I bought a beautiful piece of Maki last week. It was super fresh like it had been caught that morning. I marinated it the next day and baked it. Wonderful! I will definitely continue buying from them.

  4. Hmmmmm !

Keep supporting them , here in Paris this is really common place. It helps local businesses and promotes general health. FRESH sea food ! It is something I want to see "imported" to Harlem when I move...;Keep it up !

  5. The skate, clams and scallops I picked up were AMAZING and I was standing next to another customer who told me the tuna she got last week was the best she'd ever had- not to mention it was ONE THIRD the price she's seen in Whole Foods. Thanks for spreading the word Harlem Bespoke. This is a vendor and a market that deserves a whole lot more attention and clientele.
