☞ REVIVE: Lancaster Lexington Coming Along
The Lancaster Lexington affordable coop building between 117th and 118th, seemed to have been stalled (lower photo) in comparison to the other East Harlem sister building, the Lancaster Madison. When we walked by Lancaster Lexington over a month ago, ground work was still at hand while the Madison building looked like it was going to top off soon. The Lexington location now looks like its starting to make some progress and some pilasters are starting to rise on the lot (first photo). Originally, the project had an end of July 2010 finish date but this will apparently be pushed back. Nevertheless, its good to see some open lots being filled up with residential space in this part of Harlem. The nearest subway to this location is the B train at 116th Street. See how the Madison is doing in our past post: LINK. Photos by Ulysses
