☞ SHOP: First Look at MMPHD Farmers' Market
The Marcus Garvey Park Dog Run facebook site has some great photos of the first-ever Mount Morris Park Historic District Farmers Market. We got there a little early on Saturday and most of the goods were not fully unpacked but it seems like there were some really handsome produce to be found. Peaches seem to also be in season this time of year and they were quite abundant at one of the stands. The dried nuts vendor was also amazing since everything was on display in small crates. Lastly, Dines Farm was on hand to offer local raised beef, poultry and pork from their upstate farms. The other plus for this particular market is that it does accept food stamps. The MMPHD Farmers' Market is still on the smaller side but the quality of the vendors make it worth the visit. See more photos on the MGP Dog Run site: LINK
