☞ EAT: Patsy's 77th Anniversary Celebration
The original Patsy's in East Harlem will be having their 77th Anniversary celebration on Wednesday, August 11th, from 11:30 AM-6:00 PM, and will revert back to their original 1933 prices. This annual event features 60-cent pies and sodas for a recession proof 10-cents! The event gets a lot of press, attracts large crowds, but is worth the wait for these prices. Everything on the menu will be 90-cents or less. Check out the facebook site for details: LINK. This last establishment from Italian East Harlem is at 2287 1st Avenue between 117th Street & 118th Street. Tel. (212) 534-9783. Take the 6 train to 116th Street and walk east for three avenues and one block north. UPDATE: WHOLE PIES ARE 60-CENTS! Photo by Ulysses

Best pizza in the city, without question. I stop by at least once a week. If you live in Harlem and you haven't been here yet, you are doing yourself a major disservice.
ReplyDeleteI agree on the pizza being great, but I'm not sure I could stomach waiting on the epic line that will no doubt form for the $0.60 slices tomorrow...
ReplyDeleteIt's not 60 cent slices - it's 60 CENT PIES!
ReplyDeleteFollow @Patsys_Pizzeria on Twitter for more price updates!
House Salad for 25 cents!
Calamari for 45 cents!
Ravioli for 65 cents!
12 oz New York Cut steak for 90 cents!
Thanks RO. We covered the event last year and had the .60 cent pie information but there were some conflicting information this year and thought the prices might have gone up. Good to hear they are still at 60-cent per pie! Congratulations once more for 77 amazing years.
ReplyDeleteYeah, when I was considering the idea of a $0.60 slice, I did think that it seemed like a remarkably small difference in terms of inflation.
ReplyDeleteI might be persuaded to get in line for a $0.60 pie -- especially when it's this good. Maybe next year...
