They didn't quite make the World Cup this year but Bier International has fully opened in time for Oktoberfest which start September 18th and runs through October 3rd. The two-week festival gives everyone an excuse to drink during all hours of the day and the popular beer garden might need some extra parking spaces for those strollers that keep popping up.
Bier International is located at 2099 FDB/8th Avenue and 113th Street. The closest subways are the B,C at 110th or 116th Street. www.BierInternational.com
The last time I was at Bier, it was overrun with strollers. If I wanted to drink with people's babies, I'd go to Park Slope.
ReplyDeleteOnly way I want to drink with babies is if they’re buyin’
ReplyDeleteWell if Bier is overrun with strollers, that's actually a good sign. It means there is a demand for good places to go and so other places will open and we will all have our favorite option. The proposed bar/grill at 116/FDB will come next and then onward from there.
ReplyDeleteI see nothing wrong with people swinging by with their babies for a drink, especially during the day. Only in America would this be considered strange.
ReplyDeleteNytimes had another fluff piece on the area.
