☞ WALK: More Premium Rush in Morninside
Folks who were having brunch in Morningside Heights this past Saturday might just be in the next big Hollywood action film. Huge cranes with aerial cameras were positioned along Broadway at 111th and 113th street for the film Premium Rush during brunch hours and pedestrians were aloud to be part of the set. Joseph Gordon-Levitt was on hand in a maroon colored tee and those eating alfresco at the restaurants had a close-up view of the actor in the new bike messenger film set around Columbia University. The crew has been filming on location in various neighborhoods uptown and many in Harlem will probably be able to recognize several of the street scenes when the movie premiers in the future.
