☞ ARCHITECTURE: East Harlem Gateway II
The East Harlem Gateway II building apparently is all ready to go since we received the top image in our inbox last week. There was a lot of construction in the past year at the southwest corner of Lexington and East 126th Street (lower photo) and the new commercial and not-for-profit space is now looking for someone to lease it. Up to 28,000 square foot is available at 2082 Lexington Avenue and the ground floor space was recently used for a pop-up gallery: LINK. This one has that early century Bauhaus feel to it with the contrasting colors, mixed used of materials and some graphic, staggered windows. There's also a Gateway condo in South Harlem that has the same name but an adaptive reuse theme: LINK
