☞ READ: A Look at the Red Rooster Lounge
Zagat just recently posted a couple of photos showing the basement jazz lounge at Red Rooster. Marcus Samuelsson's restaurant over at 310 Lenox Avenue seems to be in the preview mode again since the lounge environment is looking a little half finished at this particular event. The article notes that former founder of 5 & Diamond chef Ryan Skeen was on hand, the lounge's official opening date will be approximately six weeks and that Red Rooster was packed at 6:30 PM on a Monday. Another shot of the space can be found on the Zagat site but there's not too much to look at right now: LINK. Lower photo courtesy Sam Horine

Seems to me this place is doing gangbusters. We went on Sunday for brunch and were told a 40 minute wait. So we left. Will have to try again this weekend.
ReplyDeleteHenry, you should try making a reservation in advance. Went for the third time on Sunday and once again the food was outstanding. Get the donuts. You won't regret it :)
