Friday, February 25th, reception at 6:00 PM, performance at 7:30 PM at the Schomburg Center, 515 Lenox Avenue at 135th Street. The local classical theater group named after the former landmark on 125th Street will be showcasing excerpts from Kurt Weills ‘Lost in the Stars” and “Blue Monday” by George Gershwin. There will also be a tribute to 100th Anniversary of the birth Dorothy Maynor, Soprano, founder of the Harlem School of the Arts .
