Wednesday, February 2nd at 6:30 PM, meeting at 1301 Amsterdam Avenue, Jackie Robinson Senior Center - Grant Houses. Morningside Park has some beautiful scenery and playgrounds towards the 110th Street but the north end still has a few renovations that still need to happen. There's been recent landscaping last year and a new playground has been installed but the end towards 123rd Street is still surrounding by chain link fences. The Friends of Morningside Park, Manhattan Community Board 9 and the Parks department are jointly presenting their plans for the renovation of Playground 123 tomorrow night so expect some more changes happening for 2011.
