A modest little bakery has opened not too far away from the 103rd Street Lexington station in East Harlem. We noticed the work-in-progress storefront back in October and now it looks like Delicious Bread House at 129 East 102nd Street (just west of Lexington) has finished up. We are not sure if there are any ovens on site since this is a rather small shop but local proprietors do have the option to rent out the ones at La Marqueta for baking production needs. This section of East Harlem has a few notable eateries but not much for picking up a bagel in the morning or bread in the evening so the shop definitely has a niche.
