El Museo del Barrio has introduced a weekly Wednesday after-work mixer that also features extended gallery hours. Wepa Wednesdays starts tomorrow, March 9th from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM and will have live DJ's, drink specials at El Cafe, current Latin film screenings, books signings with featured authors and dance. This extended hours concept is apparently a trend with museums in order to attract a young professional crowd and it seems like a pretty good way to do it. Get more details on the El Museo site:
