Saturday, March 19th, 10:00-Noon, Decoupage Family Workshop at the Morris-Jumel Mansion, 65 Jumel Terrace. Learn the art of decorating objects with paper cutouts. Each layer is sealed with varnishes until the result looks like painting or inlay work. Paper, glue and wood boxes to create a treasure box all supplied. Saturday, March 19th, 3:00 PM at the Gatehouse Theatre, 150 Convent Avenue at West 135th. The Literature to Life production of The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz, performed by Elvis Nolasco, adapted and directed by Elise Thoron.
