☞ EAT: Restaurant Month at Chez Lucienne
Another classic eatery on the Harlem Restaurant and Retail month list is Chez Lucienne located at 308 Lenox and 125th Street. The $20.11 Prix Fixe offers up some French classics like Escargot de Bourgogne (photo) and a choice of second course such as Croque Monsieur. There doesn't seem to be a day restriction on this offer so drop by Harlem's first authentic French bistrot before Restaurant month ends at May 15th. All photos by Evi Abeler. I've always been impressed with Chez Lucienne; we meet other locals there, and have brought out of town guests too. The food is authentically French and one sees a lot of Europeans there during the summer. My only complaint is that it gets noisy quickly.
ReplyDeleteI have a Love/Hate relationship with Chez Lucienne. I can honestly say that it's my favorite French bistro in all of NYC and I have never had a bad meal there. But... The service is a different story, if you eat or drink at the bar Jason will spoil you!!! The table service has got to change, they have no clue on what's going on!!
