☞ EAT: The Harlem Tavern's New Facade
Now that construction of the new wing over at the Harlem Tavern's north side has been completed, it appears that the facade will be finishing up very soon. The Harlem Tavern at the corner of 116th Street an FDB took over a former gas station last year and will be opening sometimes June. We walked by during the middle of last week and noticed the entrances partially exposed and French doors apparently arrived by Friday (lower photo via facebook). All of the interior electrical, flooring and furniture also seems to be in place at this point so the indoor part looks to be on schedule. As far as outdoor final details are concerned, the herringbone brick patio floors and new perimeter walls still need to be installed: LINK

Reminds me of the famous beer garden in astoria. Huge outdoor space with a tiny in door space. Can't wait
