☞ EAT: The Pink Heifer Arriving on Lower Lenox

The agenda for the May 17th meeting of the Mount Morris Park Community Improvement Association has announced that the new owner of downtown's famous Pink Teacup will be opening a spinoff of the iconic eatery on Lenox Avenue.  Local resident Lawrence Page saved the Pink Teacup (top photo) from closing forever last year and will be opening up a new branch called The Pink Heifer somewhere in the historic district on Lenox Avenue's main boutique strip.

Our main choice would be 200 Lenox at the corner of 120th Street (lower photo) but several interesting storefronts within landmark buildings are currently available.  Check out the new Pink Teacup website for a preview of what to expect for Lenox Avenue in the future: LINK.  Mr. Page also owns the famous Actor's Playhouse in the West Village so the Harlem resident apparently knows a little bit about managing a business. Any tips out there on the location?  Folks living in the area should check next weeks MMPCIA meeting to know more on what's going on in the neighborhood: LINK

  4. I think the corner of 124th and Lenox is crying out for something like this. It's a great space a block away from Red Rooster which is currently occupied by "South Beach Cafe": a florecent-lit depressing looking place which I have never seen with more than three people inside.
