The Village Voice reports that uptown resident Wesley Klein has planned to open a bacon themed bake shop in the near future and Harlem is definitely one of the locations being considered. Bacon is all the rage in New York cuisine these days and combinations such as bacon banana bread, bacon brownies or bacon chocolate chip cookies might be coming to Harlem soon.
Mr. Klein mentioned that late 2011 or early 2012 is the set date for the eatery that will have around 50 different savory-sweet options. If it worked for chicken and waffles, then why not bacon?
