☞ REVIVE: Patio Progress at Harlem Tavern
The Harlem Tavern at the corner of 116th Street and FDB/8th Avenue has only a couple of weeks to go before it opens and the large outdoor seating area finally appears to be getting renovated. Last week saw all of the remaining signage go up on the completed restaurant but the alfresco beer garden part of the layout was still a gravel yard: LINK. Concrete was being poured on site yesterday and when that sets, hopefully the herringbone pattern brick floor will make the final cut and finish up by next week. The last part of it all will then be the low brick wall to replace the current plywood surrounding the site. Two weeks seems pretty tight so maybe expect a delay or two (although final finishes are happening rather quickly at this point).

They're really moving along. So exciting!
ReplyDeleteActually, I thought the brick wall around the perimeter had already been constructed behind the plywood -- anyone know for sure?
