Friday, June 3rd, 7:00 PM-11:00 PM, Poetry Unleashed: Voices of the Economy!, 1699 Lexington Avenue at 107th Street. Art for Change presents Poetry Unleashed: Voices of the Economy poetry slam including Austin Alexis, Patrick Mathieu, Marina Ortiz, Tonya Plank, MaryLynne Wrye and more. Saturday, June 4th at 5:00 PM, A Movement in Time free dance performance at 105th Street and Lexington Avenue (North West corner). Zachary Fabri will present A Movement in Time, a public outdoor performance. This work articulates the physical movement of pedestrians and the layered architectural history of El Barrio. Saturday, June 4th, 1:00 PM, Harlem Artz, Rootz and Rhythm Festival at the Jackie Robinson Park Bandshell, West 148th Street and Bradhurst Avenue. This family friendly day event will feature the Harlem Swing Dance Society, The Movement Theatre Company, Leighann Lord Jazz Band, SAGE and  hosted by comedian Abbi Crutchfield. Saturday, June 4th, 11:00 AM-6:00 PM, The 148th Street Block Party at West 148th between ACP/7th Avenue and FDB/8th Avenue.  Come meet the neighbors, enjoy the food, music and other vendors at this family friendly event which received this year's Love Your Block sponsorship.

Sunday, June 5th, 3:00 PM-6:00 PM, 86 SALON at Paris Blues, 2021 ACP/7th at 121st Street.  This Lenox Court Coop fundraiser features live music and storytelling featuring Deborah Newallo, Nadhege Ptah, Daniel Carlton and Shauna Anderson at one of Harlem's great old school bars. $15 advance Tickets and $20 at day of event.
