Wednesday, July 20th, 8:30 PM, Freedom Riders at St. Nicholas Park. The 2010 documentary on the integrated band of college students who took a bus to the Deep South in 1961 and drew national attention towards the inequities of civil-rights.
Thursday, July 21st, 8:30 PM, Night Catches Us at St. Nicholas Park. The film based in 1976 tells the forlorn love story of two people trying to move on from their past connections with the Black Panther movement in Philadelphia.
